COMMUNAL AREAS IN THE MAIN HOUSE

The house is incredibly well designed, in so much as guests can really feel it is there own home, as we are mainly squirrelled away in the kitchen, which is to the side of the house. This allows guests as much privacy as they require, and keeps the children at bay!

DINING ROOM

The panelled dining room is quite breathtaking and was rebuilt in 2008 following the demolition of the rather leaky Victorian lean-to. It's former life was as a kitchen, but has now made a lovely Dining Room.

With Portland stone on the floors , and an over sized Bath Stone fireplace, there is nothing ordinary about this room. All meals are served in here.

Highchairs and  handy seats can be provided.

DRAWING ROOM

This room is part of the original house, with panelled walls and a lovely open fire. It looks out onto the gravel terrace and beyond to the garden.

A room very much for guests to relax, chat and read in, there is no TV to prevent altercations! There is a wide selection of games available for those who like a bit of fun, and plenty of the latest, mainly horsey/ country magazines to read. There is also a stereo and a selection of rather dodgy CDs...
