Three courses is £ 28 a head, two courses is £ 22 a head. We do not have a drinks licence, so guests should bring their own wine. ..DINNER OUT We are surrounded by some outstanding restaurants and gastro pubs. Our absolute favourite for a spoiling and memorable night is The Harrow in Little Bedwyn, which has a Michelin star for its fantastic food and mind blowing cellar. This has also just won the AA's Restaurant of the Year 2010. Check their web site for special evening events and tastings which are outstanding.(11 miles) 4 miles south is The Fox Inn at Tangley which serves excellent Thai food, as well as offering a takeaway service. We practically live here and cannot recommend it enough. Great fish and chips if you don't like Thai, and always some other non-Thai alternatives to hand. Child friendly too - our 4 year old loves it! 5 miles north of us on the A343 towards Highclere is Marco Pierre White's Yew Tree Inn, which offers excellent fine dining. Fantastic value lunch menus are certainly worth a look too. Two local traditional pubs we would recommend are the Jack Russell Inn at Faccombe (4 miles) and the Hare and Hounds in Charlton Down (5 miles). Both serve tasty local produce.
