WHAT'S NEAR IBTHORPE MANOR FARMIbthorpe is just off the A303 and south of Junction 14 of the M4, making it incredibly accessible from London, which is only 1 hour away by train from Whitchurch or Andover. Ibthorpe could not be more centrally located for exploring the whole of Southern England, from Oxford in the North, to the South Coast and the Isle of Wight in the South. The New Forest is about 40 minutes away. We are 20 minutes from the historic Cathedral City of Winchester, 30 minutes from Salisbury and 30 minutes from Stonehenge Newbury Race course is 12 miles North of us. Highclere Castle, the site of the Television series Downton Abbey, is only 6 miles. Thruxton race track is only 12 miles south west of us, where you can indulge every petrol head fantasy on their numerous courses or events. Local Gardens are available to view via the National Garden Scheme throughout the summer, and there are historic National Trust homes and gardens throughout the area. More locally, there is plenty to do for every interest, and we will happily share our local knowledge to make sure you get the best out of your stay.
